You can change the time and date of any type of appointment in the Appointments calendar. For information on how to cancel an appointment, see here.
Note: To change an appointment time, you must must have a role assigned to you that gives you editing permissions for Bookings. For more information on roles, see here.
You can change the time and date of an appointment from the Appointments tab, in one of two ways:
Drag and Drop
1. Click and hold the appointment you want to reschedule.
2. Drag the appointment to the new time and date you want.
3. Choose whether you want to send a confirmation email to the patient by ticking or unticking Email patient confirmation?
4. Click Confirm.
The appointment moves to the new time in the calendar.
Click and Edit
1. Select the appointment you want to reschedule.
2. Select the edit icon in the top right-hand corner of the Edit Appointment window.
3. Make the changes you want in the Date and time section by clicking the dates or times, then selecting a new time from the pop-up windows.
4. Choose whether you want to send a confirmation email to the patient by ticking or unticking Email patient confirmation? at the bottom of the Edit Appointment window.
5. Click Save at the bottom of the appointment window.
The appointment moves to the new time in the calendar.
