Integrate with a Pharmacy

The best way to share a prescription with a pharmacy is to directly integrate with them. Semble has integrations with the following online pharmacies:

Note: These integrations are available to all practices free of charge, however you must first request that the integration be activated for your account. To do this, contact our Customer Success team: support@semble.io

Requirements for Prescription Sharing

Before you attempt to share a prescription, you must make sure that you have added the pharmacy as an external contact for your practice. For information on how to do this, see here.

Also make sure that you have the pharmacy's permission to send digital prescriptions to them.

Share a Prescription

You can share a patient's prescription from the Patients page:

1. Select the patient who you want to share a prescription for.

2. Go to the Prescriptions tab.

3. Click the more options icon next to the prescription that you want to share.

4. Select Share.

5. Select Contact in the Share with section.

6. Type the pharmacy name, then select the primary contact linked with the pharmacy.

7. Click Share.

An email is sent to the pharmacy. To access the prescription, they must open the email, and click View document.

The pharmacy can then print or download the prescription from the sharing portal.
