You can create an invoice directly from an appointment or consultation in the Appointments calendar.
Note: To create an invoice from the Appointments calendar, you must have a role assigned to you that gives you editing permissions for Bookings, and Invoices. For more information on roles, see here.

Create an Invoice from an Appointment
To create an invoice from the Appointments calendar:
1. Select the appointment or consultation that you want to create an invoice from.
2. Select Create Invoice in the appointment window.
You are redirected to the Invoices page.
3. Finish filling out the invoice as you normally would. For more information on invoices, see here.
4. Click Save invoice.
You are redirected to the patient's record, where you can process and manage the invoice as you normally would. The invoice will also appear on the Invoices page.
A note symbol appears on the booking in Appointments calendar.
What does the note symbol on an appointment mean?
If a booking has had an invoice created for it, a note symbol appears in the Appointments calendar:
This indicates that an invoice has been successfully created for it, either from the appointment window, or from the Invoices page. For information on how to create an invoice for an appointment, see above.
