By default, online booking forms are set to make 'General' bookings for patients. You can, however, edit an online booking form to allow patients to select a specific clinician for their appointment. For information on how to create and manage online booking forms, see here.
Note: To edit and manage online booking forms, you must have a role assigned to you that gives you editing permissions for Online booking settings. For more information on roles, see here.

Online Booking with a Specific Clinician
When you have met all the requirements, you can edit an online booking form to allow patients to book with a specific clinician, from the Settings page:
1. Go to the Online booking tab.
2. Select the online booking form that you want to edit.
3. Scroll down to the Make clinicians bookable section.
4. Tick Allow patients to book with a specific clinician.
5. Click Save at the top of the page.
Patients will now have the option to select a specific clinician when making a booking with this online form.
Note: If only one clinician is linked to a certain appointment type, then the patient will only be able to select that clinician for the appointment.
