You can edit or delete a completed invoice, even if a payment has been taken for it.
Note: To edit or delete a completed invoice, you must have a role assigned to you that gives you editing permissions for Invoices. For more information on roles, see here.
Edit or Delete a Payment
You can edit or delete a payment at any time from the Invoices page.
Note: You can not edit payments on invoices that are linked with Xero.
1. Select the invoice you want to edit.
2. Click the edit icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. Go to the Payments section of the invoice, then click the more options icon:
4. Make the changes you want or delete the payment.
5. Confirm the changes by clicking the tick icon.
6. Click Save invoice at the top.
The invoice is changed, or the payment is deleted.
