When a patient books a video consultation, depending on how you have set up your practice, they receive a confirmation email. For information on how to set up confirmation emails, see here.

Confirmation emails can be fully customised, with a direct link to the video consultation included:

A patient just needs to click Start video consultation and a new tab opens in their browser, taking them to the video consultation.

In this new tab, they are asked by their browser whether to give permission to Semble to use their camera and microphone. They must click Allow in order to join the consultation.

Note: Semble only uses your camera and microphone while in a video consultation.

For more information on video consultations click here.

If your patient is unable to join the video call, it may depend on the browser they are using. For more information on browser requirements for video consultations, click here.
